Home WellU Wellness Program

Deadline Reminder: WellU activities completed before July 1st will count toward your participation. Please allow up to 90 days for processing and reporting of completion. If you are currently receiving the discount, it will remain in place until the August 22nd paycheck. This allows additional time for reports to be received and updated for activities completed prior to July 1st. If you are not receiving the discount, it will be applied once all required activities have been confirmed.

The WellU Wellness Program offers employees the opportunity to prioritize their health while earning a monthly discount on their Employee Health Care Plan of up to $25 for the 2026–2027 Plan Year.

Step One: Complete the Health Risk Assessment (HRA)

You'll receive a personalized HRA link via email from the Osher Center for Integrative Health (Wellness@utah.edu). Completion of the HRA is required for all participants.

Step Two: Identify Your WellU Route

Choose one of the following:

  • Tailored Care Pathway – Based on your HRA results, you may qualify to opt in for a Tailored Care Pathway through the Osher Center for Integrative Health.
  • Traditional Track – If you don’t qualify for the Tailored Care Pathway—or prefer a different approach—you must complete four approved WellU activities.

Step Three: Complete All Requirements before July 1, 2026

To receive the monthly premium discount, all program requirements must be completed by the deadline.

New hires/enrollees should refer to the “New Hires/Enrollees” section below for instructions specific to your enrollment date.
