Choose from a low option and a high option to provide lump sum payments in the event you or a covered family member experience a covered injury resulting from an accident. Covered injuries include eye injuries, concussions, puncture wounds, some fractures and dislocations, second- or third-degree burns. Covered accidents include participation in organized sports activities.

Enroll or cancel coverage any time through the UBenefits Plus Corestream Portal. Coverage will be effective 15 to 45 days following enrollment. If you enroll between the 1st and 15th of the month, coverage will be effective the first day of the following month. If you enroll between the 16th and last day of the month, coverage will be effective on the first day of the next following month (e.g., you enroll on March 17th, your coverage will be effective on May 1st).

Your ability to enroll or cancel coverage is limited. You may enroll within 90 days of your date of hire with the University into a benefit-eligible position, during open enrollment, or if you experience a life change event (see the portal for details). You may cancel coverage during open enrollment.
Life Insurance with Long Term Care, called “LifeTime Benefit Term”, would help protect you and your family if you were no longer able to provide for them because of your death or disability. Your family can receive cash benefits paid directly to them upon your death that they can use to help cover expenses like mortgage payments, credit card debt, childcare, college tuition and other household expenses. Cash benefits can also be paid directly to you while you are living for long term care expenses.

My Pet Protection through Nationwide is available for each of your pets, including birds and exotic pets. Coverage is available in two reimbursement options (50% and 70%) with an optional $500 wellness benefit. Base plans have a $250 annual deductible and $7,500 annual benefit. Premiums are based on specifics related to your pet including breed and age.

Choose from two different plans to cover glasses (frames and lenses) or contacts. The Moran Premier plan only covers purchases through Moran Eye Center optical shops. The Moran Plus plan covers purchases through Moran, as well as providing reimbursement for purchases at other optical shops.
