New Hires/Enrollees
If you are newly enrolled in the University Employee Health Care Plan, your WellU requirements vary based on your initial enrollment date:
July 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025: Complete the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) to participate and receive the discount for the remainder of the current Plan Year. To participate and receive the discount for the upcoming Plan Year beginning July 1, 2026, you must complete one of the following options before July 1, 2026.
- Option 1: Tailored Care Pathway, OR
- Option 2: Four WellU activities
January 1, 2026 – March 31, 2026: Complete the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) to participate and receive the discount for the remainder of the current Plan Year . To participate and receive the discount for the upcoming Plan Year beginning July 1, 2026, you must complete one of the following options before July 1, 2026.
- Option 1: Tailored Care Pathway, OR
- Option 2: Two WellU activities
April 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026: Complete the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) to participate and receive the discount for the remainder of the current Plan Year and the following Plan Year. If you were hired on or after April 1, 2026 the July 1, 2026 deadline will not apply to you, and the discount will begin once the WellU Team has confirmed your completed HRA.
Reminder:
Employees will receive a monthly email from the Osher Center for Integrative Health (Wellness@utah.edu) with a personalized link to complete your HRA. You will continue to receive an email each month until you submit the assessment.
