At the University of Utah, we strive to acknowledge the tremendous talents and dedication of our faculty and staff beyond the scope of their respective departments through University-wide recognition initiatives and events.
This includes our Staff Recognition Dinner for full-time staff employees who have completed milestone years of service (25 years of service, 30, 35, 40, etc.) and full-time staff who recently retired with a formal dinner; this event is held in late winter/early spring annually. This event is for invited staff service awardees, retirees, and University of Utah/Human Resources leadership only.
The Staff Excellence Awards event marks the conclusion of a months-long award program celebrating the exceptional contributions by full-time and part-time staff awardees with a ceremony and buffet banquet in the fall. This event is for invited Staff Excellence winners (both at a District-level and University-level), their supervisors, and University of Utah/Human Resources leadership only.
Our annual Employee Appreciation Day at Rice-Eccles marks the largest employee recognition event on campus which happens annually in September - all faculty, staff, and student employees from across campus (HCI, HMHI, Hospitals/Clinics, etc.) are invited to attend!
